I have a deep reaching love for storytelling, be it through digital animation, illustration as well as design, sharing a story sincerely has always been at the core of my creative practice. I have a background in the fields of Graphic as well as Interactive Design and have worked as a Production Assistant ( part of a team piloting of a children's education application) whilst simultaneously studying towards a postgraduate degree of a Master of Arts in Information Design through the university of Pretoria. This is a journey that has fostered in me, an awareness of the value of visual rhetoric. The book form is described as a trojan horse in that it requires user participation and engagement in order to communicate its meaning. I apply this approach when digitally constructing information, particularly when working within the context of innovative hypermedia platforms.

A Deep-reaching Impression

A Deep-reaching Impression

The winter landscape in Meltola has left an impression on my subconscious mind. December’s darkness and elongated blue hours created a space for me that fostered deep-set introspection. These conditions, though severe, were both formative as well as restorative, offering me the frame of mind for reflection and course correction. The quietude of the snow, absorbing sound cloaked the earth in a silence I’ve never beheld before, it made me reverent. My time at the Hub Feenix led me to a place of resolve both personally and professionally, encouraging me to embrace a new path forward as both a human being and as well as a creative. Surrounded by a community filled with compassion and warmth, I found not only a home away from home but also a space for internal alignment.
