I’m a recent marine biology graduate, the illustrator of a graphic novel, and a budding artist who aims to blend science and art to make biological concepts more accessible and emotionally impactful. At this incredible residency, my overarching goal is to create a few series of mixed-media works, with themes centering on humans' effect on the ecosystems and organisms around them. I intend to use scientific references to back up the ideas in my art, and I am excited to meet fellow artists and find inspiration in unexpected places!
